About
Bike Curious Montreal or Bikurious is a new energy behind what was Revolution Montreal.
Co-owned now by Marissa Plamondon-Lu and Mackenzie Ogilvie, Bikurious still aims to be a bike shop that works for the community.
One goal is to create a space that people find safe to come into, to ask questions, to learn, to hang out, and hopefully to support as many initiatives, organizations, people, and projects (bicycle related or not) as we can. Whew!
When we’re not doing that we’re probably fixing bikes or building custom bikes with used or new frames. While we do like the simplicity, beauty and low maintenance factor of a fixed gear bicycle that’s not our only focus. We’re happy and able to work on most two wheeled, human powered vehicles.
Let us know if there’s an event you’d like us to host in the shop or if there’s a particular component you’d like us to start carrying, we’re happy to oblige if we can.
We do hope to be more than just a bike shop and we value your ideas on how we can achieve that goal. We love bikes (and fixing them) a lot but there’s more to Bikurious than just bikes.
So, come by for a visit and drink some coffee, get your bike fixed, attend a bike maintenance workshop, a movie screening, or an art opening.
Hope to see you (and your ride) soon!
xo, Marissa and Mackenzie.
